Privacy policy

BestCruising.com is operated by Oceanic Travel LLC (“we”). This explains what we collect, why, who it goes to and how to have it removed.

What we collect

When you ask for a quote: your name, email address, and optionally your phone number, travel dates, destination, party size, budget range and any notes you write. We also record which page you submitted from and, if you arrived from an advertisement, the campaign identifiers in the link.

When you subscribe to fare alerts: your email address.

When you book: the details the cruise line requires, which typically include full legal names, dates of birth, citizenship and travel document numbers for each guest.

Automatically: standard server logs including IP address, browser and pages visited.

Why we collect it

To answer your enquiry, prepare recommendations, make and service bookings, send fare alerts you asked for, and meet our record-keeping obligations as a travel agency.

Who it goes to

Cruise lines and travel suppliers, when you ask us to make a booking. They become responsible for that data under their own privacy policies.

Service providers who operate this site: Supabase (database hosting), Resend (email delivery) and Vercel (web hosting). They process data on our instructions and may not use it for their own purposes.

We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not become bookings: two years, then deleted. Booking records: seven years, as required for financial and travel-agency record keeping. Fare alert subscriptions: until you unsubscribe.

Your rights

California residents have the right under the CCPA and CPRA to know what personal information we hold, to request its deletion, to request correction, and not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined in that legislation.

To exercise any of these, email support@bestcruising.com. We will respond within 45 days. We may need to verify your identity first.

Cookies

This site uses cookies necessary for it to function. If we add analytics or advertising cookies, this section and a consent mechanism will be added before they are used.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information. Where a booking includes children, we collect their details from the booking adult solely to complete the reservation.

Security

Data is held in access-controlled systems and transmitted over encrypted connections. No system is perfectly secure, and we will notify you and the relevant authorities if a breach affects your information as required by law.
